Foreign GW Server location - Guild Wars Forums

Question has been bugging me for some time, are guild wars Euro and Asian server located in Europe and Asian country respectively?

For example, if you change dis to Europe - Polish district, does it mean that it connects to a server located in Poland?

I don't believe there are any Asian servers any longer. I could be wrong.

American servers are located in California since the August move from Austin.

I can't confirm the non-existence of an Asian server, but I can say that after I moved from Seattle to Japan, my average ping went from 100ms to 300-350ms...

I am living in Europe, so I did some testing on the Asian servers. My ping on European servers (EU-English and EU-German) is usually ~200ms. Logging on Asia-Korean, I find my ping is ~125ms, so I am inclined to say the servers have been moved to Frankfurt, and have a little lower ping than the European servers due to lower server traffic.

I cannot say anything with certainty though.
